On Sunday, 21 June 2015, in the afternoon at 16:30, in Šilalės district municipality, Lingėniškės village, on the Mažeikiai–Plungė–Tauragė national road (kilometre 110.86), a BMW 320 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.57‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
