On Saturday, 11 July 2015, in the evening at 19:08, in Kretingos district municipality, Nausodžio village, a Polaris ran off the road. Two people were injured — the 27-year-old driver of the Polaris (hospitalized) and a 14-year-old passenger of the Polaris (severely injured, hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Polaris, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
