On Thursday, 16 July 2015, in the afternoon at 14:54, in Jonavos district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 45.37), a Nissan Almera rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Nissan, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. She had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
