On Wednesday, 8 July 2015, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Radviliškio district municipality, on Beržynėlio street, at the junction with Strazdų street, a collision with a bicycle occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and a bicycle. One person was injured — a 62-year-old cyclist (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Audi (20 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
