On Sunday, 19 July 2015, at night at 3:30, in Anykščių district municipality, on Sodų street near No. 2b, a BMW 530 D ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the BMW (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.16‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
