On Sunday, 19 July 2015, in the evening at 22:17, in Jonavos district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 39.38), a collision occurred. The collision involved an Audi 100 Avant and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Audi 100 Avant, who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
