On Friday, 17 July 2015, in the evening at 22:10, in Šalčininkų district municipality, Jašiūnų town, on the Vilnius–Lyda main road, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Lancer and a Yamaha 4V8. One person was injured — the 19-year-old driver of the Yamaha (hospitalized, had no driving licence). The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober.
