On Monday, 20 July 2015, in the morning at 9:42, in Varėnos district municipality, on the Vydeniai–Dubičiai–Rakai regional road (kilometre 15.56), an Audi 80 Avant hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Audi, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed.
