On Sunday, 5 July 2015, in the morning at 7:30, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Palomenė–Lomenai regional road (kilometre 4.40), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Ford Mondeo and an Audi 100. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Ford (2 years of driving experience), who exceeded the speed set by traffic rules or road signs, failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed.
