On Thursday, 23 July 2015, in the afternoon at 13:24, in Šilalės district municipality, on Struikų street near No. 8, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and a Peugeot 307. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Opel (15 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
