On Thursday, 30 July 2015, in the morning at 6:47, in Kauno district municipality, Ilgakiemio village, on the Kaunas–Prienai–Alytus national road (kilometre 14.50), a BMW 328 registered in Great Britain rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW (2 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
