On Friday, 31 July 2015, in the morning at 8:15, in Utenos district municipality, on Užpalių street near No. 97, a BMW 530 D ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the BMW (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.54‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene.
