On Saturday, 1 August 2015, at night at around 0:00, in Pakruojo district municipality, Jasaičių village, on the Bačiūnai–Šukioniai regional road (kilometre 1.29), a Renault Megane Scenic rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Renault (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.16‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
