On Sunday, 16 August 2015, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Šilalės district municipality, Tenenių town, on Pajūralio street, a Ford ANL (ESCORT) ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk, had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
