On Monday, 17 August 2015, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on Jonavos street near No. 3, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 5er Gran Turismo Reihe and a Volkswagen Touran. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the BMW (13 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
