On Wednesday, 16 September 2015, in the morning at 6:53, in Širvintų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 43.10), a Toyota Yaris ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Toyota (12 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
