Volkswagen Golf and BMW crash on the Skuodas–Plungė road
On Friday, 25 September 2015, in the evening at around 21:00, in Skuodo district municipality, on Vytauto street, at the junction with Gedimino street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a BMW 320D. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
