On Monday, 19 October 2015, in the evening at 19:40, in Jonavos district municipality, on the Bukonys–Upninkai–Keižonys regional road (kilometre 19.75), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Rover 420 and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Rover (13 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules and failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
