On Friday, 6 November 2015, in the evening at 22:30, in Alytus, on Sudvajų street, at the junction with Kepyklos street, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Space Star and an Opel Vectra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 68-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (35 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He was drunk (1.89‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene.
