On Saturday, 7 November 2015, in the morning at 7:19, in Širvintų district municipality, on the Paširvintys–Juodiškiai–Giedraičiai regional road (kilometre 12), a Mazda 323 F rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Mazda, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk, had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
