On Sunday, 8 November 2015, in the evening at 19:15, in Molėtų district municipality, on the Luokesa–Jauros I regional road, a Rover 75 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Rover (22 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.25‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
