On Monday, 9 November 2015, in the afternoon at 13:15, in Kauno city municipality, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 5), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a DAF FT 95 430 W registered in Poland and a Nissan Almera Tino. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the DAF (34 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
