On Monday, 23 November 2015, in the morning at around 7:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 89.80), a BMW 320 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the BMW (9 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
