On Wednesday, 11 November 2015, in the evening at 17:48, in Pagėgių municipality, on K. Donelaičio street, an Audi 100 Avant hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 60-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Audi (15 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
