On Sunday, 6 December 2015, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Radviliškio district municipality, Šiaulėnų town, on Dariaus ir Girėno street near No. 32, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot and an Audi A6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.13‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, a strong wind was blowing, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
