On Wednesday, 9 December 2015, in the evening at 18:10, in Mažeikių district municipality, on the Eigirdžiai–Mitkaičiai–Pievėnai–Tirkšliai regional road (kilometre 22.20), a Mitsubishi Pajero hit an animal.
