On Monday, 21 December 2015, in the evening at 17:10, in Prienų district municipality, on F. Martišiaus street, at the junction with Vytauto street, a Renault Megane hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 25-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Renault (1 year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. The driver was sober.
