On Friday, 25 December 2015, in the morning at 8:30, in Molėtų district municipality, Bekupės village, on the Giedraičiai–Bekupė–Želva regional road (kilometre 3.52), an Audi 100 Avant ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk and had no driving licence.
