On Friday, 25 December 2015, in the evening at around 20:00, in Radviliškio district municipality, on Kėdainių street near No. 79, a collision occurred. The collision involved a Renault Laguna and an Audi Allroad. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Renault, who violated overtaking rules, failed to choose a safe speed and entered the oncoming traffic lane. He was drunk (1.51‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
