On Saturday, 16 January 2016, in the afternoon at 12:50, in Vilniaus district municipality, Skaidiškių village, on Rudaminos street, at the junction with Ateities street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Passat, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
