On Tuesday, 26 January 2016, in the evening at 17:13, in Telšių district municipality, on S. Stanevičiaus street, at the junction with D. Poškos street, an Iveco AD260T44 registered in Poland ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the driver of the Iveco (36 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
