On Saturday, 30 January 2016, in the afternoon at 14:10, in Rokiškio district municipality, on Mechanizatorių street near No. 2, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 525 and a Seat Alhambra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the BMW (40 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.86‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
