On Saturday, 6 February 2016, at night at 2:14, in Ukmergės district municipality, on the Lokėnai–Vepriai–Meižėnai regional road (kilometre 1.06), a Renault 19 rolled over. Two people died — the 18-year-old driver of the Renault and a 17-year-old passenger of the Renault. One person was injured — a 15-year-old passenger of the Renault (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Renault (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.41‰ blood alcohol).
