On Saturday, 6 February 2016, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Vilnius, on Ukmergės street near No. 200, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Mercedes-Benz C220 and a KIA Motors Carnival. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the KIA Motors (7 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet.
