On Friday, 5 February 2016, at night at 23:35, in Druskininkų municipality, on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas main road (kilometre 118.80), a Volvo FH12 registered in Belarus rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Volvo (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
