On Wednesday, 10 February 2016, in the evening at 21:20, in Kaunas, on Pramonės pr. near No. 29, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and an Audi A3. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (5 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
