On Monday, 15 February 2016, in the morning at 6:40, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas main road (kilometre 20.43), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra, a car and a car. Four people were injured — the 28-year-old driver of the Opel (hospitalized), a 30-year-old passenger of a car (hospitalized), a 23-year-old passenger of the Opel (hospitalized) and the 21-year-old driver of a car (treated as an outpatient).
