On Sunday, 21 February 2016, in the evening at 17:20, in Ukmergės district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 51), a Citroen C4 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Citroen (2 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
