On Friday, 26 February 2016, in the evening at around 22:00, in Klaipėda, on Smiltynės street near No. 25, a Volkswagen Touareg hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (17 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.75‰ blood alcohol).
