On Saturday, 5 March 2016, in the afternoon at 15:47, in Anykščių district municipality, Karčių village, on Palatavio street, a BMW 525 TDS hit an obstacle. One person died — the 27-year-old driver of the BMW. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed.
