On Friday, 25 March 2016, in the afternoon at 13:40, in Rietavo municipality, on Kvėdarnos street, at the junction with Žemaičių street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and a MAN 26.413. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 73-year-old driver of the Audi (16 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
