On Saturday, 26 March 2016, in the afternoon at 11:15, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 92.50), a DAF FT XF105.460 registered in Belarus rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the DAF (26 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
