On Saturday, 26 March 2016, in the afternoon at 14:25, in Telšių district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Palanga main road (kilometre 62.60), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 and an Audi A4. Three people were injured — a 4-year-old passenger of the Audi A4 (treated as an outpatient), a 67-year-old passenger of the Audi A4 (treated as an outpatient) and the 34-year-old driver of the Audi A4 (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Audi A6 (8 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. Both drivers were sober.
