On Saturday, 26 March 2016, in the evening at 17:52, in Prienų district municipality, on the Mačiūnai–Šaltiniškiai regional road (kilometre 4.40), a Volkswagen Golf rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.21‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
