On Sunday, 10 April 2016, in the evening at 19:38, in Rokiškio district municipality, on the Dideliškis–Kraštai–Dirdos regional road (kilometre 3.50), a Mercedes-Benz 190 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.12‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
