On Sunday, 24 April 2016, at night at 1:33, in Rokiškio district municipality, on Taikos street near No. 9, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 525 TDS, an Audi A6 Avant, a Renault Laguna and an Audi A4 WW. Audi S4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.05‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
