On Thursday, 12 May 2016, in the evening at 17:48, in Palanga, on Druskininkų street near No. 13A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320 and a Chevrolet Cruze. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the BMW (38 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations, failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed.
