On Saturday, 14 May 2016, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Šilutės district municipality, Kintų town, on Kuršių street, a BMW 525 TDS ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk and had no driving licence.
