On Tuesday, 17 May 2016, in the evening at 17:57, in Mažeikių district municipality, on the Mažeikiai–Plungė–Tauragė national road (kilometre 4.20), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Hyosung, a Pvari PA1/002 and an Audi A6 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Hyosung (less than a year of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. Both drivers were sober.
