On Thursday, 19 May 2016, in the evening at 20:55, in Telšių district municipality, on Karaliaus Mindaugo street, at the junction with Sedos street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and a Renault Modus. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Opel (10 years of driving experience), who failed to obey traffic-control signals and failed to give way when crossing an intersection.
